A Weekend of Art and Solidarity in Lille

The 13th edition of l’Art en Gare takes place at the Gare Saint Sauveur in Lille, on Boulevard Jean Baptiste Lebas. This free event was organized in partnership with the French Red Cross, the City of Lille, Lille3000, and Lille Centre Animation, and will run from Friday, October 13th, to Sunday, October 15th, 2017. It aims to promote art while supporting local initiatives of the Red Cross.

Program and Activities

Exhibitions and Sales

Over 70 artists participate in this event, and they will be showcasing a wide range of works including paintings, sculptures, screen prints, photographs, contemporary art, graffiti, street art, and more. The artworks are displayed and available for sale in Hall B of the station. The exhibition is open to the public, starting from Friday at 2 PM.

Performances and Installations

Artistic performances and dynamic installations entertain the visitors throughout the weekend. DJ sets give life to the evenings at the Bistro Saint So, creating a festive atmosphere.

Film Debates and Gastronomy

Film screenings and debates are held to discuss topics such as human rights and access to healthcare. A gourmet meal is organized on Friday evening, followed by an art auction.

Concerts and Musical Entertainment

Concerts are at the Bistrot de Saint So on Friday and Saturday from 8 PM, offering visitors an insightful cultural experience.

Guest Artists

Notable artists such as JEF AEROSOL, NIKOS ALIAGAS, C215, and PATRICK CHAPPERT-GAUJAL are present at the event, enhancing the experience with their unique vision of art.
