An Artistic and Charitable Weekend
The 13th edition of the Quai des Artistes returns to the Quai Léon Jouhau under the theme Utopia lille3000. Organised by the Weekend’Artistes collective, this event turned the Quai de la Basse-Deûle into a space for contemporary and urban art on June 26, 2022.

Diversity of Visual Arts
The 13th edition of Quai des Artistes featured 40 artists specialising in various fields of the visual arts. They proposed an exhibition embellished with numerous installations, offering a panorama of creativity and innovation. Visitors can also enjoy dynamic performances throughout the day, including street art and graffiti demonstrations by DirtySix, as well as spectacular interventions by Laboratoire Mécanique and its famous “merco”.
Interactivity and training
Artistic workshops, accessible to the public, are led by renowned artists. Don Man guides participants through silkscreen printing techniques, Scfreeart introduces them to the secrets of stencilling, and Émilie Pillot focuses on the art of monotypes. These workshops are intended to offer a deep immersion in various artistic disciplines, allowing each participant to expand their skills and stimulate their creativity.
Musical ambiance and festive animations
The Weekend’Artistes collective sets up an exceptional musical atmosphere with a DJ set installed on a “stage resembling a fire truck”, orchestrated by the Le Relief association. This initiative is sure to set the event alight with a “musical fire”, creating a festive and memorable atmosphere for all participants.
